About
I am a seventeen year old vocalist, trombonist, and composer.
In the late June of 2008, I traveled to Evanston, IL for the Northwestern High School Summer Institute. This started out as a blog of my experiences there. Right now, it’s serving as a photoblog of both my college search and my life in central, quasi-rural New Jersey. My first post was the closest thing I have to a mission statement.
The title of this blog is from a poem by Charles Simic, called “Summer Morning.” It is taken from his Selected Poems, 1964-83, and it can be found in full on the website of The Writer’s Almanac with Garrison Keilor. It was featured on that show on June 15, 2001.
